Dear Reader (HD) users,

Google killed their Google Reader service. It's a very bad news for us and you. Our Reader (HD) application depends on Google Reader service, so it will stop working after July 1st.

We're trying all the best things to keep our Reader (HD) alive. As soon as we have a solution, we will notify you.

So please stay tuned. Thanks for your understanding.

Notes: You can sign in to Google Reader on the web (https://www.google.com/reader) and export your subscriptions to an OPML file. Please backup this file somewhere. It will be useful for you.

Cập nhật lúc 22h 28/11/2012, máy chủ của Café tạm thời đã được khắc phục để phục vụ các bạn. Cảm ơn các bạn.

Hiện tại máy chủ của Café đang bị lỗi không truy cập được khiến các bạn không thể cập nhật được tin tức mới. Age Of Mobile đang cố gắng khắc phục lỗi này để sớm đưa máy chủ của Café hoạt động trở lại phục vụ các bạn.

Dear all Reader HD users,

We've very happy to announce that we've just released the 2.5 version of the application to the Play Store today.

So, what's changed in this version?

First of all, it's the application name. Since Reader HD can run on both tablets and phones now, so we removed "HD" from its name. It's just called Reader from now on.

From 2.5 version, Reader will access Google Reader API via SSL connection. This will help you reading your news safer. You will need to re-authorize the application again. It's inconvenient but we think it's worth to do that just once.

Reader also have a new Black theme. It's completely black. AMOLED screens will consume less battery with this theme.

We added two new home screen widgets to Reader as suggested in our UserVoice forum: Badge & Ticker.

Magazine layout is now more attractive & cleaner. The following screenshot shows the Magazine layout on the Nexus 7 with the Using phone UI in portrait view option enabled.  To 7" tablet users, we recommend you to check this option to have a better experience.

• Fast sync option. If your subscriptions are not changed frequently, you can enable this option to improve the sync speed.
• Justify text, Display image caption and Disable swipe gesture options in article view
• Show borders, Maximum items per page, Title font, Summary font option for Magazine layout
• Two new fonts: Roboto Condensed for title and Roboto Light for content. Let try this composition, you will have a very clean article view.

• Mark all as read speed
• UI of List & Stack widgets
• YouTube videos detecting
• Larger touch area of item actions (starring, mark as read)
• General performance

Dear all Reader HD users,

Reader HD 2.2.4 has just been released and published to the Google Play Store (Android Market).

The first important change is Reader HD is now runnable on ICS phones. Here are some screenshots of Reader HD running on Galaxy Nexus:

Unfortunately, we have not "enabled" the phone compatible version on the Google Play Store yet, so you will not able to find it on your ICS phone. We will enable it when it's tested carefully.

The second one is navigation buttons position are now movable. You can move navigation buttons (next/prev/back) to your desired position by press and hold navigation buttons, then move them.



Please contact us if you want to try Reader HD on your ICS phone or you found any problem in this update.

What changes in 2.2.4?

• Google Reader sharing feature is back (Settings -> General -> Use Google Reader share)
• Remove "Hardware" renderer option, which caused problems on ICS
• Pre-loading next magazine pages for smoother navigation
• Update icons to match new Android Design Guidelines

• Fix other bugs

Cập nhật: Máy chủ Café đã hoạt động lại vào lúc 18h chiều nay. Các bạn đã có thể cập nhật tin mới. Cảm ơn và chúc các bạn buổi tối vui vẻ!

Hiện tại nhà cung cấp dịch vụ máy chủ cho Café đang gặp sự cố về hạ tầng kỹ thuật khiến máy chủ của Café hiện  không truy cập được. Vì vậy các bạn sẽ không sử dụng được hoặc không cập nhật được tin tức mới trong thời gian này.

Đây là sự cố không mong muốn từ phía nhà cung cấp rất nên mong các bạn thông cảm và vào lại Café trong một vài giờ nữa.

Cập nhật 22:51 3/3/2012: hiện chúng tôi đã tiến hành chuyển xong máy chủ. Mời các bạn dùng thử một vài ngày và phản hồi giúp Café xem các bạn cập nhật tin có nhanh hơn lúc trước không nhé. Chân thành cảm ơn các bạn.

Chúng tôi sẽ tiến hành chuyển máy chủ Café về máy chủ đặt tại Việt Nam để đáp ứng nhu cầu cập nhật tin tức của các bạn đang ở Việt Nam được nhanh hơn trong thời gian tới. Tuy nhiên, các bạn ở nước ngoài có thể sẽ truy cập chậm hơn một chút.

Công việc chuyển máy chủ dự kiến sẽ tiến hành từ 22g (10g tối) ngày 3/3/2012 đến 1g sáng ngày 4/3/2012. Chúng tôi sẽ cố gắng thực hiện việc chuyển đổi nhanh nhất có thể, nhưng có thể các bạn sẽ gặp phải tình trạng không ổn định khi cập nhật tin tức như cập nhật tin chậm hơn, tin tức bị trùng lắp, lẫn lộn cũ & mới.., nên mong các bạn thông cảm cho những bất tiện này.
